The Role
Reporting to the People Director, this new role for So Energy will be tasked with steering our HR Business Partnering function. This pivotal role will provide robust HR support, ensuring compliance and fostering an employee experience that resonates with our organisational values.
Please note, this is a temporary role, expected to last around six months. An immediate or near immediate start is preferred.

What you’ll be getting up to in this role:
Lead the People Partnering Function: Manage, coach, and develop the people business partners.
People and Performance Leadership: Lead critical people and performance-focused changes in line with our company culture and values.
Cultivate Continuous Performance Culture: Drive a culture of continuous performance through effective management of the Performance Management lifecycle process.
Strategic People and Culture Advisor: Act as a thought partner and advisor for developing departmental people plans and strategies.
HR Best Practices Implementation: Influence and implement HR best practices to enhance employee engagement, development, and wellbeing.
Employee Relations and Regulatory Guidance: Oversee complex employee relations cases and provide guidance on regulatory trends.
Employment Legislation and Law Advisor: Stay abreast of employment legislation changes and advise business functions.
Support to Senior Leadership Team (SLT): Provide business partnering guidance and support.
Collaboration with Talent Acquisition: Work in collaboration to align with workforce plans, budgets, and promote internal mobility.
Organisational Design and Efficiency: Collaborate with the People Director and Talent Lead on organisational design activities.
Change Management Leadership: Be an agent of change and lead change management initiatives.
Strategic Initiative Delivery: Lead the delivery of strategic initiatives for employee and management issues.
Feedback and Data Insights: Work with the People team to feedback business-wide trends for a data insights-led approach.

You’re a great match if:
Extensive experience in HR Business Partnering.
Proven track record in managing and developing HR teams.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Experience in change management and organisational design.
Ability to compile and interpret HR metrics and data.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strategic thinker with a solution-focused approach.
