The Role
Senior People Operations Specialist
Play a pivotal role alongside the Head of People Operations, owning day to day People Ops execution while driving cross functional projects, policy rollouts, and systems excellence.This role safeguards data integrity, simplifies processes at scale, and enables a consistent, compliant, and high quality employee experience from onboarding to off-boarding.

What you’ll be getting up to in this role:
People Ops Initiatives and Projects
Lead and support people-related projects such as: Benefits reviews and renewals, policy rollouts, annual performance/compensation cycles, employee experience and engagement programs, audits, and compliance readiness.
Drive continuous improvement projects across the People Ops landscape (e.g., onboarding redesign, leave processes, documentation frameworks, or HRIS enhancements).
Systems & Integrations
Support with creating a connected People ecosystem with HIBOB as the central source of truth, ensuring all platforms; ATS, payroll, benefits, learningand more integrate seamlessly.
Design and optimise integrations so data flows automatically across the employee lifecycle (hire, move, promote, leave), enabling smooth, consistent, and scalable experiences. · Continuously evolve our People tech stack, simplifying processes, automating manual work, and enabling global scale with confidence.
People Operations
Oversee and refine core People processes, ensuring they remain consistent, compliant, and employee focused.
Support and guide People Ops Coordinators in the delivery of these processes, stepping in to troubleshoot complex cases or unblock issues.
Maintain oversight of digital records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and readiness for audits and compliance checks.
Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance lifecycle processes so the team can deliver a seamless, efficient employee experience at scale.
Data & Insights
Ensure People data is accurate, consistent, and trusted as the foundation for decision making across the business.
Build and maintain dashboards that give team leads, managers, and the SLT clear visibility into workforce trends.
Translate data into actionable insights that highlight risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement in how we support and scale our people.
People team support & leadership
Operate as a thought partner to the Head of People Ops on policy improvements, and roadmap prioritisation.
Provide day to day guidance to People Ops Coordinators and over time, assume leadership of the Coordinator team; managing workload and developing skills.
You’re a great match if:
Essential
- Proven expertise across the employee lifecycle, with a track record of keeping processes compliant, consistent, and employee friendly.
- Strong systems background: hands-on with HiBob (or similar HRIS) and experienced at making systems talk to each other through integrations.
- Confident working with integrations and data flows, able to spot issues, troubleshoot sync errors, and ensure HIbob remains the central source of truth across all platforms.
- Fluency in people data: skilled at building, interpreting, and presenting dashboards that highlight trends and risks; able to translate raw data into actionable insights .
- Project management capability: planning and delivering cross functional People initiatives; including system rollouts, upgrades, and integration projects.
- High bar for data quality, privacy, and security; well versed in GDPR, right to work, and audit readiness.
- Clear, confident communicator who can simplify policies and processes into accessible guidance, FAQs, or training.
- Trusted for judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information, with a proactive, ownership driven mindset.
- Service oriented, always balancing operational excellence with a focus on the employee experience.
- Exposure to performance and compensation cycles, benefits renewals, or broader total rewards operations.
- Direct experience with systems integration design, APIs, webhooks or close partnership with IT/Engineering to implement them.
